Who will be my driver?
All our tours are operated by fully licensed and insured local driver-guides. They are experienced professionals who know Iceland well and take great care to make your journey safe, comfortable, and relaxed — while sharing local insight along the way.
What kind of vehicles do you use?
We operate a high-standard, modern fleet designed for Icelandic conditions, including:

Are tours shared or private?
All tours are 100% private — only your group and your personal driver-guide.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Weather in Iceland can change quickly. If conditions affect the plan, your driver-guide will adjust the route or timing to ensure safety while still delivering the best possible experience.
In rare cases where a tour must be canceled due to unsafe weather or road conditions, we provide a 100% refund.

For Northern Lights tours, sightings can never be guaranteed.
If weather or aurora conditions are not favorable, the tour will be canceled in advance and a full refund will be issued.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for:

Winter holidays

Northern Lights season

​Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, bookings can be changed or cancelled. Please email us at contact@rpt.is with your name and booking reference, and we’ll assist you as quickly as possible. Full details can be found in our terms & condition.
